blomic

Thus marks the first blomic, which sounds like some sort of perverse euphemism!
I also got a haircut today, but didn't feel like drawing it.

Cherry Blossom Festival

More life drawings from DC! This time we went to the cherry blossom street festival.

I drew other stuff besides these I'm showing, but I don't want to scan EVERYTHING. Plus, not all of it was fabulous. I am still getting the hang of this.

Some Okinawan dancers! They were fun to watch, and all fairly old ladies.

These were the first things I drew while we were waiting for the train to come.

These are some plans I did for a comic my friend wants to write. I don't know if we'll actually end up doing it (it's for his school project: he is in high school) but it was fun to make these concept art things. The idea is that it's an Iron Chef-style cooking battle...in a comic. I think the redhead wins but I don't know.

Story crap. How pretty they are! Eh?

I tried to get writing but I'm pathetically unable to produce anything worth reading. I really like Girl and I regret not coloring her on the computer.

Adventures in Community College # whatever: Japanese 101. Lots of people have been weeded out due to not studying, but some people remain. One of the people in this picture is truly horrid.

He is a manga/glorious nippon/glorious nipponian videogames/anime lol/manchild dork and reads yaoi fanfiction/catgirl fanfiction (I think I overheard). Some of that might be okay if he had any redeeming qualities, but he's also a really hard person to like. He is an ADHD poster child and it reflects in the way he tries to communicate with people.

He also has no concept of "personal space" and has gotten ALLLLLL up in mine and my sketchbook's repeatedly. You disgusting fat man get away from me.

Our teacher has a really good face to caricature, but what if she caught me caricaturing her? She totally breaks the stereotype of the japanese person who is ultra-polite and won't correct you much. I fear and respect sensei.

To the Zoo

Do you like this fat woman?!
----
I went to the zoo with this dude--he, too is an artist of skill.

But first I took the metro.

Faces and people. It's not top notch or anything...I get really uncomfortable when I don't have a steady place to put my sketchbook. I guess I need to do this sort of thing more so that I get used to it.

The bird house was simply the best. The toucans were adorable. Many people were taking pictures of them and they were doing little myspace poses. (I colored one on the computer!)

Panda was cute too. It kind of moved like a dog. There were many birds shaped like footballs in the aviary.

(more to come, probably next week. Birthday tomorrow, happy birthday to me.)

well!

I was up all night drawing! I was jealous over someone who I am sure never thinks about me and it fueled all this insane drawing. I am so glad.

My good friend here at home is helping me to fill up my sketchbook in his own special way. He found the blank/mostly blank pages and wrote assignments on them. One of the assignments was "people I respect with horns".

I thought he meant people HE respects, so I drew his mom and his best friend, as well as these famous people.

Is not kevin spacey so majestic?!?!?!!?!??!

A little coloring stuff I whipped up. It's still a little too "pretty" for my liking..the lines/drawing. I kinda like the simple coloring. Dunno if I can want to do other sorts.

More tae come!

PS my penpal Steven said to mention him. I am mentioning him! He lives in austrailia and gets drunk often. Here's hoping you find the woman of your dreams, Steve.

PPS--Not like anyone reads this, but if you want me to send you a letter gimme a holler! and we'll see about yer address and etc. I love penpals and I want a million.

Remnants of a dying sketchbook

I'm working on using up alllll the pages with whatever I can scrawl in before I break into the brand new one.

So here we go!

Two storyboards/"comic panels" from a little short comic I was sooo desperate to get down. There;s more in pencil, but I feel so bad about them that I don't know if I'll even try to fake-ink them with a ballpoint pen.

Oh boy. I love drawing naked women. The worst thing I ever did was not sign up for a figure drawing class this semester. But the model fee is so much.

Also apparent--I need to practice drawing a WHOLE HUMAN.

I found my old Jack Hamm book on drawing animals and I immediately tried horses. I never went through that "horse phase" most girls go through, so I don't know how to draw the damn things at all (as you can see. poor foremost leg...)

Adventures in community college: part two. This character of a young man looked like a viking and said many offensive statements in english class!

Brush your teeth please.

Hello non-existent readers. It is late at night and I wonder why I am not sleeping yet! I would also like to brush my teeth quite a lot. I have not wanted to brush my teeth this much before. I would really like to brush my teeth.

Here is some pictures! I got back into drawing after a dry spell. I drew some silly pictures of myself.

The lower left one is probably most accurate. The other ones are just ridiculous! I don't look like that.

Here is a great fat wimmin. I had fun drawing her.

Here are some LADIES! The blonde one is my favorite clearly because I draw her all the time.

Hello again Mia!

This is a horrible horrible man I drew. He was in my english class. I do not really know what to say about him. Isn't he a funny drawing!!

Here is some things about my week.
-I worked out a lot. It is sort of painful.
-I hope I can get a damn sketchbook soon. I would like a new one.
-I bought some funny socks. I think that is to be expected.
-I would really like to brush my teeth right now.
